The Slatternlies was an all-female punk band based in Olympia, Washington, in the mid-1990s, and featured Natalie Cox (bass), Jessica Espeleta (guitar), Maggie Vail (drums), and me, Bridget Irish (vocals). This is some Super 8 footage I shot during our one and only tour in 1995. We played a handful of shows in Oregon and California - I think it was Eugene, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Chico. It seemed our van broke down as many times as we played. Our roadie was Megan Block, from Australia. Aside from the tour, we got to play a lot of shows in Olympia, were featured on Michelle Noel's KAOS radio show "Color Outside the Lines", and had a 5-song demo released on tape cassette by Tobi Vail's Bumpidee label. (This video is currently "silent" - I may add some of our music later.)
