[Dallas]
"So...um...when's the wedding?" Demi asked Eddie on Friday morning as he was making his coffee. Demi was starting to feel comfortable around him, but she still didnt like the idea that he was marrying her mother. She didnt like the idea of him being her step-dad, at all. The only reason she was asking him this is because Dallas was still upstairs getting ready for school and she had nothing else to do. Demi didnt just want to sit there and be awkward.
"September 5th." Eddie said, taking a sip of his coffee.
"That soon?" Demi asked raising an eyebrow.
"Your mother picked the date."
"Of course..." Demi mumbled under her breath. Dallas then came rushing downstairs, fixing her shirt. She had a gray long sleeved off the shoulder shirt with her black bra-strap showing but she didnt seem to mind. Then she had on skinny jeans with short 1 inch heels and her hair was down, and her makeup done.
"Next time, don't keep Demi waiting." Eddie said sternly. Dallas stood by the kitchen arch way and pointed at her hair, making a face.
"It doesn't take 5 seconds to make me look this beautiful, Dad." Dallas scoffed and grabbed her backpack then smiled at Demi.
They both drove to school in silence. This is what Demi liked about Dallas, she was nice, and didnt seem to mind the silence. Although she looked like the type that would be head cheerleader and talk non-stop about how rich she was, she was the total opposite.

Dallas looked surprised to her sides as Cody and Nick filled the spots next to her. This was her first time sitting with Demi, and she didnt really know her friends. But Dallas just shrugged and started eating her salad.
"Hey." Demi snapped her fingers and Nick and Codys faces, "Guys, this is Dallas. She's my soon to be step-sister."
Nick nodded towards her.
"Hey." He said. And Cody just gave her a smile, suddenly becoming quite nervous around the pretty girl sitting next to him. Joe then came and sat down next to Demi, eyeing Dallas a little.
"Joe, Dallas. Dallas, Joe. You two will be seeing a lot of each other." Demi said, half smiling.
"Nice to meet you." Joe said shaking her hand lightly.
"Yeah." Dallas said then took a sip of her iced tea.
"Oh!" Cody jumped and pointed at Demi, startling them all, "It's your birthday tomorrow!" He said.
"Yes. It is." Demi gave him an are you crazy look and shook her head. Cody looked at Nick and smirked.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Cody asked. Nick spread an evil smile onto his face.
"Oh yeahhh..." He said.
The two jumped onto the lunch table and danced around a bit, catching the entire cafeteria's attention. They stopped for a second, back to back, then put their hands in fists like microphones and started loudly singing happy birthday. Demi groaned, shaking her head and trying to her tomato red face in Joe's chest but he only pulled her out and made her watch while he laughed. Dallas was trying to keep in her laughter but it was hard so she just finally let it out. And across the lunchroom, even Selena was laughing. When they were done they jumped off the table and did jazz hands, smiling at the cafeteria students who clapped and cheered like a true audience.

Last HVC for today..now onto The Chronicles Of Bitterblue Valley. Wow that's a mouthful!
