The lessons here are from:
Eiichi Kiyooka. (1953). "Japanese in 30 Hours".
Tokyo The Hokuseido Press.
I'm not affiliated with them in anyway, if they see this as an infringement I will remove the videos-- though I will probably post my own lessons, origional ones of course.

  • what book do you use for these lessons? I'd like to purchase it because your lessons are more useful than all my books in teaching me. Please reply to this.

  • @TheDarkMindedOne In the description section I posted a complete bibliography of the book I used. Hope you can find it, it is out of print. Try used book places!

  • just noticed that you pronounce 'd' as a retroflex sound instead of the trill used in japanese.. hmm..

  • @FreedomValentine Did I mess up? How often do I mess up? I don't mean to, I might be doing it just out of a bad habit.

  • @takineko it's not wrong haha! it's just something that a lot of people who speak or learn japanese as a second or foreign language do because that sound is more prominent in their native languages. you've got a great explanation on the tense markers and your pronunciation is really clear, so good job!

  • @FreedomValentine Yay, I just don't want to be teaching all these people the wrong thing x.x

  • @takineko ah, thank you so much. I just bought it on amazon for just 6 dollars. Great deal. Thanks again.

  • @catkac kaiyoubi is tuesday.

  • Would it be ok to answer ''Watashi-wa koyobi ki-mashita''?

    PS: Koyobi is tuesday, yes?

  • You plan to reach 40 videos for each lesson? That's a great job from you! I think its a brave decision since you get tired from work! I hope to continue on teaching us safely ! :D
