I have to be honest, I preferred Aether Shanties; End of Days has some really good songs (and this is one of them) but the CD just didn't feel as tight and well produced as Aether Shanties.

Love, love, love, the violin and the beat of this song! Most of the lyrics are good, but the chorus seems a bit... lacking? Maybe it's just me, but it feels sort of tacked together haphazardly.

@JasanQuinn I think they were going for more of an apocalypse feel by how the cover of the album looks. It's like their ship was taken down and all they had salvaged was the important stuff which pretty much means the rest was left to the winds. I admit, AEther Shanties is one of my favorites too, but this one has hooked me further into the culture. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I will respect that. In the end, still love Abney Park!

Cool music... It goes well with the new RPG "Airship Pirates"... The game takes place in 2150 after a big apocolypse and time line snafu that essentially mixes Victorian and future cultures together... The Neobedouin are the nomads wandering the lands, a mix of Gypsy, Bedouin, and tribal culture...
