CES 2012 Pocket HD Camcorders

hi all

i made a mistake. the Panasonic range is the DC2. WA2 and the WA20. so the W2 is the WA2. sorry about that.

here is my run down of most of the camcorders that where at the CES show this year.

would like to have seen bloggie to have done an upgrade to the duo, just with the screen sorted, and the mic inpit - it'd be a stunning camera. z112 certainly the best though, easily, actually.

I would agree with you on your top 3. I think the wi-fi is a waist of time, and I wanted them this year to bring out 2160p (3840x2160) and the kodak playfull zi12 was near that setting with the '1080p60' setting. So my funds will definitely go to the Kodak Playfull Dual Zi12, as a succeder to my Kodak Playtouch Zi10.

Im slow as hell when it comes to buying tecnology! LOL It took me about 4 months a few years back researching DSLR cameras and buying a Pentax K200d which was then discontinued after purchase. Its a fantastic camera and Im trying to see what I can get for my dollar when it comes to mini camcorders, I used to be an extremely impulse driven shopper many years back! Not anymore,I read,read,and read some more...

graet video mate your 100% right on the wifi you can get a ipod touch that would do the same streaming job as all these pocket hd camcorders. it is a waste of time what these company are seem to be doing just make a good camcorder with good video and good audio that people can use everyday for may years, the best pocket camcorder that I have had is the Panasonic HM-TA
