Sammy used to live on the end of a chain. He's now lived in this adoptive home for almost 2 years...DDB has just been accused of making bad adoptions because the adopter's sister alleges he's been hit by her brother (they've been feuding since their mother died.) We say, let Sammy and DDB out of it!...from these photos and video taken 5/27/07 he looks happy and loved, and wants to stay with his family, where he gets to run, play, and cool off, either in the water or inside with the AC!

If only people would realize that chaining a dog outside is a sentence of solitary confinement & torture for a dog. Dogs are pack animals, so they are very social & need social interaction with a "pack." People who chain dogs outside should be charged with cruelty & it shouldn't be permitted in this country.

What a great dog and a great situation for her. I can't imagine a dog so full of life having to live on a chain. I believe we should give a dog as much freedom and exercise as we can safely permit and it looks like Sammy's getting a lot of that. My dogs would be envious.

This is obviously a happy, healthy dog who is well loved and taken care of. He has access to inside, toys to play with, a companion, room to roam. Nice job DDB!
