the way she says "swim lonely" adds some sense of imagery to this song, to such extent that I can actually see her swimming on a dark ocean shore, right next to Lisbon. the sky looks dark and starless, and the city lights look amazing. the "uuUUuUUuuuU" of the background vocals, plus the . · `· . · ` · . · ` · . of terry's guitar just adds to the feeling of ocean waves to it. this song was extremely well made, and I love every single bit of it.

Me too, dude, me too... ) For 3 year between 2003 and 2006 I have been thiking, that can be nothing better than "Fallen", then in 2006-th was big disappontment, but after years hearing "The Open Door" I changed my mind completely - now I like every song of it! ^__^
