It was freedom of the seas . I saw the show with building it and had the same footage

Man, the things people are entertained by sometimes. I mean it's cool and all, but dyou all really feel the need to scream WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo like you're on a roller coaster?
-
i can bet on 20 buks that there was actualy like 2 meteres from ships sail to the bridge. it just looks close from that angle
-
I took a cruise where the Captain pointed out it was an optical illusion that made ship's masts seem like they wouldn't fit under that bridge, but there was, in actuality plenty of room. Even with this said, we swore it was going to hit... until it didn't!

everyone standing there waiting for the mast and the bridge to fall on them...prob planning on sueing later. i wish a big fat piece of metal falls from the sky and lands on all those dumbasses waiting to be squashed like bugs.
-
If it were anywhere near close, a shadow would have quickly appeared on the mast.
But if I had a cruise line, I would spice up the trip and assert the ships are 'almost too big' and warn people to watch this proximal illusion.

Natural selection: The people who stand directly underneath the part of the ship that might have been ripped free from the superstructure.

Pardon me. Verrazano Bridge>

That must be QM2 trying to sail under the VansNarrows Bridge in New York. I wonder if it will crash it when the oceans are supposed to rise 10 due to global warming.

damn. i thought i was going to see a show. i want it to hit it.
Cant agree with you more. The ship must declare its height and definitely prior approval is obtained before any passage is allowed.

It looks a lot closer then it actually was. From the angle below looking up, it looks like the two will collide :-D
