Simone and Zelia Ducan make good pop music. The sensual relationship between they both adds to the music. Surprisingly, I have been told- in Brazil very few lesbian musicians are publicly out. It seems that they encounter proffessional dificulties if they are outted. There is Melissa Etheridge in Brazil. The only ones out are the young one, I have been told.

I love Simone, Unfortunately she is NOT known Internationaly. Aside from very small gay and latino group, no one knows Simone. As matter of fact , very few brazilians musicians are known in the US and Canada. Aside from Caetano, Gil and few others (who speak English and give interviews in English) Brazilian musicians are left aside . It is a pitty since they are so talented. Those Brasilian should expand their following Internationaly. The world is now Globalized
