@5kCAM I recorded this with a Sony DSR 200 DVCam and I used a cheap 800 watt red head to light the room as my DSR 200 performs very poorly in low light. I'd only just started using lighting and it's difficult to know what your shot looks like with the DSR if you're working alone because it doesn't have a flip screen. As you can see, the lighting wasn't very successful in this video. Some of my other videos demonstrate better lighting, eg. Halloween 2010, though there's much room for improvement.

so which one you guys prefer? me66 sounds bit better no? and its half the price..

@privatepavel I think the two mics sound quite different from each other. In the end you really have to make up your own mind which type of sound you prefer. I think the NTG-3 sounds smoother and richer, more like the sound of a radio DJ, but I haven't got the ideal voice for testing mics so it always sounds dull to my ears. I prefer the NTG-3 myself, otherwise I would've kept the ME-66, but I got rid of it and kept the NTG-3. I've used the NTG-3 for recording songs. Look in Music on my channel.
