This is intended behavior. You are closing the app from the task manager and that is fine. The app is closed. But you still have the history of the previously opened apps, that's why it shows there on the left side and you can switch to it. When you switched to an app you had closed from the task manager, it will start again. It will show up back in task manager once it goes past the loading screen (the spinning wheel). I don't see any problem here.

But then that behavior is inconsistent with closing an application (from swiping top to bottom). Unless End Task isn't "Closing" an application, it's literally "End Task". I would understand if it's by design (as I said in the video). Just curious. That's why I put a "?" in the title. :D

Do you think it could be showing them as more of a history than actual active apps? It seems from the time that it takes to load up some of the programs that they aren't being treated as active apps.

You know what, that actually makes sense but at the same time, why when I close an app "swipe from above" it actually leaves the "history"? ;)

It happens the same in the Windows 8 pro on my intel asus ux31e..but dispate being in the recently closed apps it's is closed! what happens is that it's not clean from that quele. you can still return to the app and dependente from the behavior the developer created in sthe startup of the app, it can shoe you the same info as before or the start page of the app! that may cause the confusion. What happens is that from the momento the app is with 0% in the task manager it's already closed

It does seem like abnormal behavior, but it doesn't seem like it will hinder performance due to it not being seen in the task manager. Minor confusion, definitely something that should be cleaned up.
