This is a heavy Iron Chain Whip training form from 108 Hu Shui Quan style (The 108 Heroes from the Water Marsh combined fist style).
Traditional Shaolin style origin Gong Fu. (filmed on April 2009 in Brisbane Australia by Luke Kretschmann)

yes this is the heavy 9 section chain traditional style, each section is the width of your thumb-not the thin metal flagged version seen in modern wu shu..which are more thin than a pencil.
Getting hit by this is part of the learning process..respect your weapon-ha ha
