when i was in state band last year in kansas we played this song and Holsinger himself was our clinician....and he critiqued the hell out of us....from what he told us about this piece you guys did a great job especially with the difficulties in the trumpets and horns, it would have been nice to see the tempo a little higher, but great job band!!!!

Balance is totally off in some spots, can't seem to maintain tempo... But not the worst ive ever heard...

we just started looking at this piece earlier this week. It sounds pretty cool, but really fast! I dont know if i wanna play it that fast! We're starting at a really slow tempo to get it going.
