  • @KDBadazz so are you saying take them together but not before a work out??? or are you saying take the arginine then work out then later take lysine?

  • Hey man, I've been doing some research on this and I have found overwhelming evidence of the positive effects. I am having problems finding the dosage with both. I know how much L-arginine to take alone, but what is the ratio when together. Should i take more of one then the other or should i take the same amount. Second, should i take it on an empty stomach so the effect is more potent. Thanks! Nice video!

  • The recommendation is to take Arginine and Lysine together on an empty stomach at night in a 1:1 ratio. However, there are doubts about taking them together in their "L" form because they compete with the same receptors. At least one should have a non-L form, ie. Arginine Pyroglutamate

  • From a medical perspective, Arginine (if taken at night) increases Growth Hormone synthesis.

    Growth hormone-->-->-->Congestive Heart Failure is the most common cause of death from increased growth hormone.

    Arginine (if taken prior to weight lifting)--> vasodilator. The main hazard here is that after a while your risk 2 things: 1) hypotension-->passout 2) Highout put cardiac failure

    In otherwords, I do not recommend it

  • I've always been worried aobut heart problems down the line with supplmentation especially Nitric Oxide
