@frogambassador Eli is protected by God. Its not some "weapon malfunction". You would know that if you actually watched the movie.

@frogambassador Well that's still movie magic. The bullet wouldn't just deflect off of a blade but whatever.

@wtg2989 as its the apocalypse, the weapons are rather poor quality and fairly old - a build up of dirt or grime can disrupt the aim of the bullets. You can see that the hitman looks at his gun afterwards, as if checking whats wrong with it. The bullet hits his bag the second time and deflects off something like a blade in his bag.

@Th3R3GuLaToR I believe he is not totally impaired, he has enough sight left to be able to distinguish the sun in several parts of the movie, And for the rest he uses the power of the so called god. and his hearing.
