The June Brides playing Josef's Gone live. The song was one of the B sides to the "No Place Called Home" single on Intape. It is partly a homage to Josef K, and to all the other bands who inspired me.

  • Here. This band obviously ripped off the Manic Street Preachers' Motorcycle Emptiness!

High treason! James Dean Bradfield will be punching desks, clocks and walls when he finds out about this!

  • @drepmore Ha, ha! We did indeed! Must thank Dr Who for the loan of the Tardis which allowed us to go into the future to steal it from them. We were cunning ;-)

  • Well, hello Mr Gibbs!

  • Thanks for posting this - first heard the Junes Brides on a tape called 'A Tribute To Tricky Dicky', it was a live version of 'In The Rain', low-fi but what a version! Didn't realise the Manics ripped this off until last months Uncut interview with them.

  • Hi Phil.. I sold you a Josef K tshirt some time ago, and asked if I had any June Brides shirts...well...email me :)

  • I'd marry this song :)
