@AjaPuppy To be fair, carbon dating is often used colloquially as a blanket term for dating using any element, kind of like a lot of people call any carbonated beverage a coke even if it's actually a Pepsi. I guess radiometric dating just doesn't roll off the tongue...

@mastro82mp The snowflake theory is that stardust from exploding stars created the elements that made the earth. The problem with the earth being the age of the snowflakes rolling into a molten snowball is that all the elements in the earth prevent atomic clock to wind all that happens is decay meaning dating uranium 4.5 billion years goes back to the snowflake before the earth was created somewhere somehow in space. etc...right? Richard Dawkins willfully forget to mention this. etc,,right? duh
