No one even wanted to be the bass player originally (let us go waaay back to the waning days of the Beatles), because they all thought that the bassist was 'the fat guy who stood in the back'. Haha

@athertg actually, paul was first a guitarist, but the band wanted someone else to play bass, so they agreed that paul would play bass. and paul liked it :)
