Mortal Online Beta - Mounting & Riding a Wild Horse

Here, I have found a pack of wild horses and try and tame one of them by simply targeting the horse first with the 'R' key, then simply typing "tame" into the open chat box. Like good ol' Ultima Online, my avatar starts beckoning the animal to accept me as it's master. Riding a horse here is very similar to the horse back riding found in the Mount & Blade game. Using WASD to control the horse and tapping W and S to speed up or slow down respectively.

My avatar here had a little skill already at taming and riding a horse. The first time she tried taming a horse, the horse kicked her to her death. The next attempt came after practicing taming on pigs and weasels to skill up. But even then, I got bucked off many times before I could actually sit on the horse as it's true master. ...Remember, Mortal Online is all about the skills of your avatar. practice makes perfect.

@larryxwong Umm, if all else fails pal, try "reading", at least the first two words of the title of this video. Hmmm. "MORTAL ONLINE" maybe? {smile}

I want to say that this game is still a mess unfortunately. It's been almost a year and a half since it officially released, and it's just not complete. The dreams and hearts of the team were in the right spot, but they just don't have the expertise, know-how, and mainly funding to make it a success I'm afraid. It's still running though.

the horses are supposed to be wild but 4 some reason there a bit fat. :) oh well no ones perfect. ;D
