Amazing video. Between April-November 2009 I lost my best friend, sister, grandfather, and grandmother to cancer. I have recently found a strong desire to buy a sailboat and live life the way it was meant to be lived. Your video inspired confidence in my decision. Thank you so much and may your friend sail in peace.

Hi and thanks so much for your posting.
I hope the sailing dream is still strong for you. A truly wonderful way to rejuvenate the soul and allow things to drop into perspective. I am very sorry to here of your numerous losses in 2009.
Stay strong. I do believe all these challenges are a painful yet important part of our individual journeys and I hope who we become thru these ordeals are valuable and fruitful for ourselves and those that we are honored to share our lives with. Thank You

Thanks for the feed back.
Yes we left Long Beach and realized one of my celestial nav books didn't make it on board so we made a stop in San Diego to purchase a copy. We had a few gps devices on board but I was hoping to dust off my sextant and shoot the sun and stars.
Milage to Maui we logged 2400 (trying to pick up trades earlier by heading south first) Return trip log was 3300 miles due to the pacific high that makes you head north for a thousand miles before you can head east.
