There are several avenues and not everything you do will see the light of day. Sometimes you have to tie it to news on China to make it relevant. As long as you view media with disrespect, its not likely you will have success. Keep working and refining and use as many media tools as you can.
My comment about media was harsh. But it certainly applies to NZ media.
But I can get good information from Germany's DWTV about World events for free and I tell my friends about it. Apparently a number of people are watching DWTV now. But with the variety of videos on the internet now even TV is a bit old fashioned in my opinion.
A friend of mine and I took a couple of hours or so to write a very carefully worded letter to our major local newspaper about one of their rare articles about Tibet. Our letter didn't get printed. Newspapers are out of date in my opinion because of the internet.
I ring and email our TV media to tell them about important new videos about Tibet and China and they are not interested.
I learnt heaps about attitude by reading mountaineering books about 8000m peaks. The only reason why I found out about oppression in Tibet was because I was looking at Mt Everest videos on youtube and there is a Nangpa La shooting video with Mt Everest in the title.
Hardly anyone in NZ knows about Tibet because of brain dead media.
Dear CKN, we suggest Internet research. Different folks respond differently and there are different preparations depending on your own situation. Also, consult a doctor.
I like the sincere and non commercial work !

HRT, we suggest that you forward material to friends and to media and work to educate... not insult.
Ultimately, media needs to know its a priority of their viewers and readers ... customers.

I know someone who lives at sea level. She went to 1500m and did not feel well all day.
Climbers have big problems with attitude (lower air pressure) on 8000m mountains. Do you know about climbing in Tibet?
