Voter Awareness - Election Watch - eschew corruption for a healthy democracy

This video draws the attention of voters and creates voter awareness among the electorate. Every adult citizen has a duty, responsibility and right to exercise his / her franchise without fear or favour which he / she must do diligently and judiciously, to create a healthy, transparent and accountable democracy, free of corruption - to create an informed citizenry and provide good quality of life to citizens consisting of good health, hygiene, housing, education, employment, social security, etc. for themselves and their future generation and not based on any one time such as lure of cash or freebies which would last hardly for a day. While citizens exercise great care and caution while making purchases for the house or while admitting children in school or college, should they not exercise greater care while electing their representatives who should champion the cause of democracy for the next five years?

Senior Secondary High School, Mylapore, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, on Sunday May 3, 2009 at 10 am, on the occasion of the all party meeting organized by Rajaji Centre for Public Affairs in association with Indian liberal Group and Tamil Nadu Election Watch, for the forthcoming 15th Lok Sabha 2009 elections in India.
