  • I heard Victor ' s name a lot when tuning in my radio as a young lad in the early 60s. I thought he was totally uncool then but now I'm 60 years old and am a big fan !!

  • European (International Standard) Ballroom Tango was simplified and standardised in 1922. It's quite amazing to see how the dance has evolved. There are steps there that in a grouping I would recognise as the Walk, Basic Reverse Turn (closed ending) and Open Promenade from a modern International Standard tango.

  • This way to dance tango is called "Tango Salon" or "de piso" (of floor). This is like our original Tango dance. We don´t like Valentino´s style. Greetings from Argentina

  • THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! I'm a dance historian and I give lectures on dance. So often I have to pull out old text and describe or show photographs to explain that dancing today in NOTHING like it's origins.....thank to you, I will refer to this clip many times in the future.
