A Quick tutorial on how To Use Blender 3D To Render .png Images With A Transparent Alpha Channel. If you Have Any Questions, Please Leave A Comment, And I Will Do my Best to Help you out.
@mysterymcleft Yes you can. Set your output type to "quicktime", and then, open the "set codec" menu, change "compression type" to animation, set fps to whatever you need, and, this is important, set the "depth" to "millions of colors +". Check The "RGBA" Button, And Render. when you play the file back, it will show the blue background, but when opened in any software that supports alpha, it will be transparent. if you need more help, let me know.
@dkcihu there is no "quick time" anymore ... it disappeared with 2.58 -.- can you upload (if you have) your install file (32 bit) for 2.57 to mediafire and send me the link please ? :D
@mysterymcleft i dont have 2.57, i'm using 2.49b until i get the hang of the 2.6 interface. but i always use the builds from blender.org... i'll pm you a link to the index.
