Free Your Mind and Mentality Edition #9

Get Broad-Minded & Educated:

My thoughts on intelligence and how comedy has it's place in relation to it. A brief analysis and overview. Something I did not mention in the movie, from experience, woman comedians that I have met seem to be laid back, warm, and giving. Wit is a direct form of humor from what I read in a voice acting book. Wit is also a form of intellectual humor. That is common sense to some people.

Following below is from this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm

"Sarcasm is a form of speech or writing which is bitter or cutting, being intended to taunt its target.[1] It is first recorded in English in The Shepheardes Calender in 1579:"

"Sarcasm is proverbially said to be the lowest form of wit.[3] It is often associated with the use of irony. Hostile, critical comments may be expressed in an ironical way such as saying "don't work too hard" to a lazy worker. The use of irony introduces an element of humour which may make the criticism seem more polite and less aggressive but understanding the subtlety of this usage requires second-order interpretation of the speaker's intentions."

Response to this quote: Lowest form of wit, I see people like this childish and a low stupid, instigator type of ignorant person.

To reply/have ur 2 cents. Make a movie, i.e. mp4, avi, add as a response. I will post all, regardless if negative/positive. Don't have webcam or camcorder? Get one. Webcams can be low as $10.

If u want to talk to me, invite me to friends, send a cell/work/home #. I will call u back.

"email, instant messenger and typing inpersonalizes effective communication between people. You do not see there face, you do not know there mannerisms, the sound or tone of there voice. It is substandard communication, and the anonymity of the internet and email has virtually made it impossible for old fashioned personalized effective communication." "It is not the greatest thing since sliced bread." - cerebral01

"Examine what is said, not who speaks" - Arabian Proverb

"You can get 45 people with 25 different opinions, and they all think they are right. Opinion is just that a opinion, not fact" - cerebral01

"My take on email and typing. The biggest problem I see is being ignored. People can be narcissistic, flatulent, arrogant, condescending, aristocratic, or all of the above. There is nothing more wrong than sending someone a communication via e-mail, you are articulate, like to express yourself fully, taking the time to write the e-mail, sending it, expecting a reply, then never getting one." - cerebral01

"You take the time to write a short or long letter, send it via e-mail, its polished, detailed, but concise, and most of all, to the point. You expect an answer, right? Wrong. From my experience, most people tend to ignore all these factors, and ignore you." - cerebral01

"Cons: The anonymity of the internet and email might just lead to total impersonalization of society, Pros: Nothing good about it, although you can send files on it." - cerebral01

"Because email is free, does not make it better." I would rather pay for quality, than quantity." - cerebral01

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss, American writer And Cartoonist, (March 2, 1904 - September 24, 1991)

"Human history is the sad result of each one looking out for himself." - Julio Cortazar, Novelist and Short-Story Writer, (August 26, 1914 - February 12, 1984)

"One of my primary philosophies on life. I believe in giving equal time to everyone, no matter if they are a homeless person, or a CEO. I ask only to be treated the same. The way I see things is I am never too busy to speak to anyone that needs/requests to talk to me. Learn this & incorporate it into your own life. It is that important. - cerebral01

"None are more unjust in their judgments of others than those who have a high opinion of themselves." - Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Playwright, British Baptist Preacher (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892)

"Arrogance diminishes wisdom" - Arabian Proverb

"A wise man changes his mind, a fool never" - Spanish Proverb quotes

"It is wrong always, everywhere, and for anyone to believe anything upon insufficient evidence." - William Kingdon Clifford, Mathematician and Philosopher (May 4, 1845 - March 3, 1879)

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." -
