This episode was quite sad. :( thank you for uploading it. The bobbing heads reminded me of the parade in paprika or the kodoma in the forest in princess mononoke. I think they're like an anime trope, if I'm using the word correctly.

DMT and Salvia planes are completely different and feel different. Myself never smoked DMT, but there are lots of reports by people who saw these "machine elves" in many manifestations, as well as other entities.
In Salvia plane there are also "beings", but in a much more menacing way.
It does bring in the question of whether or not our consciousness can exist when our body no longer does. And when it no longer abides this realm's laws, then its free to glide through the whole infinity?

A thing I just noticed:
No matter how much I try, I can't seem to change Youtube to english in a permanent way. That means the "like" button is in danish. Therefore for me, Youtube doesn't say like...
...instead it says "God"

i think we schouldn't just think of different lains but also of different worlds.
i get the feeling that lain created different worlds and with each wirld a different lain and now the lains are kind of switching places.
at least that would explain why sometimes people don't remember something.

The first Lain is "childish" Lain, and is the innocent one seen in the beginning and so on. The second Lain is "advanced" Lain, who is the confident one. The third Lain is the "evil" Lain who hurts everyone in the series, including herself.
