Practicing some moves with my ESP in pretty windy conditions.

Sorry for the image quality, guess I'll need a new cam soon ...

  • Beautiful flying man, you have a really good touch. does the 500 handle wind much better than the 450. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Yes, the 500 handles wind better than the 450. It's not only bigger but also heavier - 1,900g compared to 830g.

  • well done mate! How long have you been flying? How well do you like this heli? I was interested in getting one to step out of my trex 450.

  • Thank you! I've been flying my T-Rex pitch helicopters since November '08, but started out with small coaxial helis a few months earlier - not to forget many hours on the sim :-)

The T-Rex 500 is great, I can only recommend is as the next step! It has a much more "heavy" and "precise" feel in the air, so I think it's definitely easier to control for a beginner, but it is almost as agile as the 450 if you want ... Also, the 500 is a very powerful heli, depending on your setup.

  • Great video 5*****

  • Thanks! :-)

  • Awesome flying there mate! well done! 5 *

  • I agree with m43991

  • I'm using 6S 2500 mAh 30C packs from SLS (Stefans Liposhop, German battery wholesaler).

However, headspeed is relatively low (2,200 rpm), so these packs still have some good power reserve :-)

  • what battery are you using?
