powerslider, you mean it sounds perfect even though it went out of tune? If so, i congratulate you, because i feel this is one of the most expressive sections (the last minute or so of it) in recorded violin, and that is in no way disturbed by the slight mistakes.
Actually, I suspect Kreisler himself was trying to get it even better, but i can see what he means!

Wow... Normally i don't like the sound of somebody playing solo violin because mistakes are so easily made.
But this sounds perfect!! The violin must be the most difficult instrument of all probably....

@petrof4056 He's not my favorite for no reason. Glad you appreciate it. I suggest you check out his concerto playing. I posted his fabulous Mozart 4.
