Hey, nice post. I was actually looking for the soundtrack to the Paul Scofield version, but stumbled on this instead. Still, this is a great one. I remember Charleton Heston being incredible in this. Too bad this version doesn't get played on TV too much.

@stibblebar What you have said is amazing - why? Because word for word is being repeated here in the US regarding our own country - even the civil war/secession talks. I don't know how much new you get of ours, but we too are experiencing 'seething unrest' here. I have personally attended half a dozen protests none smaller than 400 and the one in Washington 9/12/09 numbered between 1.75 and 2.2 million (Obama instructed his people not to count) those numbers were provided per secret service.

@2012endofanerror The answer is: My generation (born 1952) has destroyed our culture and respect for all that is wholesome and good, such as marriage, fathfulness, truth, fear of God, and replaced it with greed and selfishness. I fear we are heading for civil war as I detect seething unrest everywhere I go.
