Johnnie you will forever be missed in my heart. It was YOU that got me truly started in painting. You were my first workshop and truly helped immerse me in the art world. I have a few paintings done with you still hanging on my walls. Hugs to you up above angel!

I rarely ever respond on videos but as I just learned recently that this wonderful artist has passed I was compelled to respond after watching this video. I have been inspired as an artist by her and her contribution to myself and others in the artist community will be greatly missed. I was happy to see though the teaching is continuing on and I am sure she would be pleased with that.

@MBStudiosArt I took classes from Johnnie while we were in Saudi Arabia. I can't tell you how much that meant to me and how much I learned. I had planned on coming down to Houston and taking another class but never got a chance to do it. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, it's a loss to us all and especially her family. You have mine and Curtis condolences.

I will definately be purchasing a DVD! Wished I could have painted with Johnnie in Chicago. Hopefully one day - for now this will have to be the next best thing!
