@IndividualParties "Be on guard against giving interpretations of Scripture that are far fetched or opposed to science, and so exposing the Word of God to the ridicule of unbelievers."
- St Augustine
"He who would learn astronomy and other recondite arts, let him go elsewhere. Here God would teach all men without exception and therefore...the history of creation...is the book of the unlearned."
It's good to see some Christians accepting REALITY. Ken Ham just perpetuates the image of Christians as batshit insane cult fanatics, irrationally devoted to ancient texts and the bizarre worship of imaginary entities. Just listen to the idiot at 1:04 "I believe what he's saying undermines the authority of god's word..."
Im not sure how you could beleive both accounts are literally true. But when someone says they do then they should be forced to make a choice or resolve the problem another way, particularly considering he is a scholar whom people look for guidance about truth from. Should he be harressed for it, NO! The church needs to get over itself or at least just tell 'God' deal with it in the afterlife.

Augustine is to Ham what Everest is to a wart.

Christian "faith" is not faith in God but faith in a cartoon character in a story book.
