  • i agree man best version ive heard by far

  • That's because now a days music is about making money talent and longevity of the songs aren't even considered singers like "lil wayne" the only part of their so called songs when they're even saying anything is the talking the melody's are done by a computer. But above all this song is what 35-40 years old and its still playing today lets see any billboard top 40 hit today last almost half a decade and this is still gonna keep playing millenniums from now

see all

    my mum was there

wish i was there too but it was like 11 years before i was born^^

  • Love this song miss keith on the drums not the same.

  • By this time in British punk rock you had to look like a rent boy or thug and the who are still strutting themselves to the heart of industrial Germany. A steel coal megalpolis where 5 years before the ex SS was probably running the police still and german war death steam 2-10-0s were moving the coal through the Ruhr. They sound better with reliable back beat of Kenny Jones. Keith had been too soft to back 3 borderline psychopaths from Acton.

Have you guys ever heard the version performed live during the "rock honors the who" on VH1. That's got to be my favorite version, although Daltrey's voice has changed quite a bit, Townsend absolutely lights up the stage, and Zak Starkey couldn't have played it better! Check it out!

  • If martians visited earth and asked what Rock Music is all about-just show them this performance.
