i loved the first Conan but i saw it recently and found something out. the movie is freaking racist. The only black guy in the movie is the bad guy. the last seen in the movi is Conan decapitating this black guy and holding his head up to a crowd of people who look like the KKK holding torches. The movie might be great but WTF...

Never read the original stories by Robert E. (Bob) Howard nor seen the original first film directed by John Milius, but did watch the 1992 animated series. But in one point, they should've cast a different actor to play Conan for the remake.

I think you are confused. Conan the barbarian '82 does not need to be redone. But the character does need to be rebooted. They are keeping a few plot elements from Arnold's film, namely the wiping out of his people and the revenge motive, but they are telling a new different tale with (supposedly) a feel and a Conan closer to the original source: Robert E Howard stories. So they are not remaking the film

I like to see Arnold back as Conan,like at the end of the movie where hes a older king and sitting on the throne.The storie would be about his kingdom being threaten and hes has to dust off his sword and disembowl the evil dead hoard coming from the south.That would rule.
