@dennis5294 But all this arguing about who has the best special operations units is stupid. At the end of the day they work together against bad motherfuckers like these Pirates. And the Dutch Marines have pulled off good rescues.

The Dutch are good but not that good. The US Special Operations community is the largest and most experienced and not to mention best funded special operations community in the world. The Dutch Special Operations units only operate on purely basic Tier 2 level....they have nothing on units like Delta, DEVGRU or even the 75th Ranger Regiment who do a big chunk of the killing.

@dennis5294 You could say that they would be better trained, but US Special Operations Forces are more experienced in the field, operating in the worst combat zones today. Take Osama Bin Laden and the Rescue of the Danish and American Hostages as case and point. With that said, well done by the Dutch Marines...

What's with all the bitchfighting? As a Dutch person, I'm proud of our Army/Airforce/Navy/Marines.
And I just laugh when I read all the comments here. You guys seriously believe that after the Americans liberated us, Holland evolved into 'The Netherlands'? And FYI: We speak English because as a country build on trade, we had to accept other cultures back in the 16th century. So that meant adapting, learning other languages. Not because you guys are 'superior' or whatever.

@dennis5294 no they are not , why you hating fucking faggot the dutch and americans are both good. hmm i wonder who saved europes ass in ww1 and ww2.

I guess the Somali piracy bullshit will going on for years since politics think there dreams are the reality, punting many life's at stake. But its not there problem as-long they are safe and well paid.

I read somewhere that de zeven provincieën class frigates were actually classified as destroyers but were called frigates for political reasons is that true?

@XtremedesyrWoWSC Yes, they called frigates because the politics wanted frigates and no destroyers. But international the frigates called destroyers. very confusing
