Мой отец ,капитан-лейтенант 3-го ранга ,рассказывал мне об этом.

Слава ветеранам Отечественной войны и труженикам тыла того времени.

Позор тем кто в мирное время довёл страну до того что ей уже почти нечем и некем оборонятся.Не говоря уже о наступательных боях и ведении боевых действий на территории противника.

Soviet Naval Brigades were fromed out of necessity due to lack of trrops. Many were not well trained for land combat, but they learned the hard way and became good. Training for land combat was increased when possible. Some of the original Naval Brigades were well trained and could be equted to the USMC. Good to see old vets still alive, from all nations. They will tell you there is no glory in war.

it talks about the naval forces that fought in WW2, navy is not as recognized because it was not as involved as Germany and the West in naval battles, but they in fact fought on land too, and they were fierce in battle

Lot's of men fought bravely and died here in deplorable conditions. We honor them today here in this place and remember them and even today we stand ready to defend if we have to.
