Welcome to part sixteen in this series of videos in which I take the advice of all of those Christian fundamentalists and read my bible - literally

You see if you are going to believe in the literal "truth" of the bible and take it literally then literally is the only way that you can read it.

In this Abram has woman troubles

Rather, he has his hands full when his wife suggests that he should get to know her handmaiden

Now I don't know if it is the fact that we have four thousand years' worth of experience to go by but you and I both know that this is not going to end well.

  • There are three things I look forward to watching/listening to every weekend:

    1. The Non-Prophets podcast.

    2. The Atheist Experience stream.

    3. Literally Genesis.

I hope the latter continues on the Exodus and beyond.

  • British accent was invented to satirize the Bible!!! Loved the benefits joke!

  • Hägar the Horrible. Lovely reference.

  • @paulchartley And so is Tim Minchin!

  • Exceedingly doubled! Great imagery... Pity the drunk with two wives lol.

  • @wspol624 I haven't had a chance to view much of her work. I was unaware that she produced like clockwork.

  • Hmm Sarai sugesting Abram get with her maiden sounds a little kinky, sort of suggesting a three some LOL

  • "Who did wear a helmet with horns, and was frequently drunk, and was horrible..."

That line alone won me over for this episode, right from the beginning.

  • LMAO, nice work Paul.

  • @paulchartley Thanks for keeping you face hidden then. Very christian of you.

  • brilliant as ever, but i'm not sure the french maid's outfit suits you:-/ looks tight:)

  • The criticism about the translation of Genesis 16:14 was hysterically funny not only because of the witty commentary but because the KJV suffers from this so badly! Another good one, you never disappoint !
