  • What type of snowboard would you recommend for me and size. I love going to parks and hitting rails are very fun. I'm new to basic jumps but wanna learn really badly. I am an intermediate rider, 5'7, weight 135 with all my gear (ski jacket, pants, hat, etc.) and pigeon toed .But also want to hit some black diamonds. My budget is between $200.00-$400.00 Any suggestions??!!

btw. i love your vid's they help so much!! Keep up the good work Doug!!

  • @xSnowxBoardx10 - Check out a Sierra Stunt. Look for boards around the 150-154 range.

  • hey just had an idea you see torstein horgmo has a video of a full top to bottom park run your awesome rider it would be cool to se one of those featuring you

  • @julasinio - We will work on it, thanks!

  • Hi, on some grindboxes you have to ollie up from the side of the box. When I ollie on them, I always slide over them as I slide further down the box and then I fall off on the other side of the box. I can never get to the end of the box. Is there a way to prevent sliding over them?

    Greets from Belgium!

  • @Freehoezee - You need to catch the edge of the rail on the side you are jumping up from to redirect your momentum down the feature. This is called a skate style jib. If you are jumping up from the toeside edge your heel edge should be slightly below the edge of the feature to catch it and slide down to the end rather than off the other side. Focus on just catching with one foot, not both.

  • @TheAlienabductionpro then get yourself a freestyle board...

  • How long have you been snowboarding doug?

  • i really hate that my board is stiff as fuck

  • @xSnowxBoardx10 I would suggest the Ride Agenda/Ride Kink for price, both super good boards for the money, If you wanna go for top of your budget, i suggest the Bataleon Whatever Price is $399.99 and is super good for everything you want and more, or the Bataleon Disaster, which is an Urban Destroyer, price runs $350.00 You should check them out!

  • I can 50-50 on a grind box but that is it and it looks to me like some of the more advanced boxes (c-box, down-flat-down, rails, etc.) are much easier with something like a board slide. Can you make a video teaching us some basics to do a board slide or other grind box tricks?
