@EonApocolypse Yep, sadly the only CD that came out "before Bam" was Greatest Lovesongs vol 666. In Razorblade Romance era he was already promoting them. Personally, I have nothing against Bam, he seems like a cool, nice person. But I can't deny the fact it is annoying that people in America know the band just because of him and his shows, not because of their awesome music.

@vivamaria89 Bam was promoting HIM when Razorblade Romance came out. Kinda hard to get away from Bam while enjoying the delicious sounds of HIM.

I've never paid enough attention to the lyrics but the chorus, a situation a I often face with girls I love, full of pain and troubles. Beside describing perfectly the dynamics between a depressed subpersonality who wants to save a schizoid one, it adds a beautiful description of how depressed subpersonality when suffering, turns love into hate and destruction under which poisons itself. It's a simple poetry and a brief manual of psychotherapy as well.

Ville gets it, Do you.

There is no other band that tugs at my heartstrings like HIM does. The lyricsenvoke feelings in me that were long forgotten. Ville's voice makes me feel safe. The music itself is like a light in the dark guiding me home. Every song is perfection.
They saved my life. And I love them more than anything. <3

I will never understand the people who don't feel the striking of some sort of chord inside their hearts when they hear HIM. God knows I feel it, and if you love HIM, so do you.

finally a true gothic song!!! nice!

@anniebabeblues lol true and they make the true stories and stuff about vampires look like pussies turned the actual historical fact into a legend then turned it to shit with coming out with twilight

I agree with you so much! I was so excited about Dark Light to come out and then I was terribly disappointed! But now I start to love this songs as well! But my favourite cds will always be before Bam! :)
Him is a band that you can't compare to any other band. Him in Twilight?! Never. Him is NOT a commercial band. Him isn't Muse. Him isn't a film that all teenagers have to see. Him isn't a book that every girls have to read just because they are in love with his boyfriend and think that he's gonna sparkle at the sun. Him is Him. And it always will be.
Ps: I don't want to offend any twilighter.

@AnDr3a702 Agreed. Twilight is for those with ignorant infatuation. HIM is for those who feel true love, and true hate.
