this presentation is wrong why? because i live around the yankee stadium and between the old yankee stadium and the track is a parking lot and isnot showing so that is ma reason.

The presentation is an animation that was made in 2005 to show what opening day in 2009 might look like.

It is the presentation that was used by people involved in the construction & building industry to see what the finished product MIGHT look like.

i've been to the old one so many times, and it's just not gonna be the same. it would of costed so much less money to renovate the stadium. just fix it up, replace the seats, make it look like the older one before the renovation in the 70s, etc. but no, of course we have to tear down something historic.

I hate the Yankees, but the original Yankee Stadium was one of the few remaining monuments to baseball. This place is just another shopping mall ballpark.

@f22cool ......Um wrong i do realize they didnt win rings back then....but they did kill it in the 20's with murders row... so yeah they have WON28!!!! not 27....so yeah the Yankees are more then just winning they have traditioin and history that over sports franchises in the world just cant fathom. I think i know waaaay more abot the yankees then just the 28 titles and ill prob have more knowledge about the Yanks then u.... but thanks for your comment......peace love & pot

@KOFILMSANDMEDIA Get over it, Yankees got a championship at the new home that was the big thing with Yankee fans can they win a Championship in the new Ball Park..... That was answered of course its not going feel the same life is about new memories that can be shared for the rest of your life. That stadium as turning into a dump and falling apart now the Yankees got a home and get honor the Yankee greats like champs that they are.

Not to complain too much, but if that animation is accurate, that looks awful far from downtown! i dont know if that's a good or bad thing in NYC tho, Target field (new twins stadium) is right in downtown and it's an advantage for us. it's too bad they had to tear down the old one tho. We still got our old metrodome. Can someone who's been to this stadium tell me what its like? i wanna know from someone who's actually experienced it.

Ha they have a new park they have a few new 20 +million dollar players but one thing won't change...and thats they will never be good enough to beat boston
