The breakdown: It's the world premiere of an interactive musical. Audience members are given props such as mini-meteors to use when there's a meteor shower onstage. Or when someone tosses their cookies onstage... you get the idea. The story? Arrogant surfing god Kip and girlfriend Trixie battle the evil space creature and learn life's important lessons. Think sci-fi/beach party/'60s rock 'n' roll/monster movie.

The burning question: Is there more than horror here? "It is truly a love story," says deranged director "Dr. Stanislov Stanislovski" via a tongue-in-cheek press release from Doug Sachs. "Kip and Trixie are a loving couple, like Romeo and Juliet, Caesar and Cleopatra, Kermit and Piggy."
