MUGEN Battles #39 - Ken (me) vs Spiderman

The greatest martial arts champion in the US of A...Ken Masters.
Lemme tell ya, this guy is somethin' else.

I've seen him on TV a few times, fightin' in those martial arts tournaments they broadcast sometimes. The way he fights...it's like he's not even trying!
While his opponents are giving it their all, Ken just calmly moves from side to side, dodging all of their moves, then BAM! A solid uppercut right into their jaw! Makes 'em look like glass.
And get this...sometimes, while he fighting, his FISTS will CATCH ON FIRE. I SWEAR I'm not making this up! I've seen it with my own two eyes! It's like some kinda crazy magic or somethin'!

From what I've seen of him, he seems like a nice guy most of the time. Luckily for us huh?
But, hoo boy, I wouldn't wanna run into him on a bad day. He can lay anyone out faster than you can say "Go"! A couple of good punches from him and you're eatin' pavement! He ain't the champ for nothin'!

Not only is he the master of kung-fu, but he's even the CEO of his own company! It's crazy!
He's got a mansion, a yacht, a smokin' hot wife...he's got everything! Man, what I wouldn't give to be in his shoes...

Funny enough though, not everyone knows about Ken. He may be the champ, but there are still some people out there who see him as just another guy. That's cool an' all, but you know how it is: When you're out there in society, ESPECIALLY in New York, "just another guy" is an overstatement...

...But it's alright. After all, look at who we're talkin' about; It's not like Mr. Masters can't take care of himself!

Seth's Spiderman is pretty fun to play around with. He's not the most accurate of the bunch due to the custom moves he's got, but those moves make him all the more interesting.

Gameplay-wise, at his core he's the MvC Spiderman you all know; he's fast as hell. In fact, he's SO fast, he can do a normal chain with all six of his normals, pull off any of his special moves, and before you hit the ground, he can whack you some more with his normals, and THEN follow it up with a[nother] Web Throw! Thank God for damage dampeners, or else this guy would be sickeningly cheap.

One of the custom moves Seth added to Spiderman was his "Spider Sense Tingling" super. When he uses it, his spider senses go off for a bit, and if he's hit while they're still going off, Spidey'll dizzy his opponent for a bit, the put them in the dark for a good while. Like with most "invisibility" supers though, this works much better for the AI than it would for you (or at least, for me), since Spiderman is completely hidden in the dark unless he steps into the spotlight. Still a fun-to-use super though.

Spiderman's AI is...crazy, to say the least. At its max level, he's constantly super-jumping around you, throwing out semi-random kicks while swinging back and forth in hopes of catching you. The AI makes good use of his "combo machine" properties, and the second he hits you he'll unleash the spidey beast...okay that sounded wrong. :(
He'll also spam Maximum Spider and Crawler Assault a lot. Once he gets the super bar for 'em, so if you keep an eye out for them, they're easy to block/dodge.

Good fight man :) It's nice to see someone who takes the time to make a storyline for a MUGEN battle , that makes them much more interesting .
