This video pays tribute to Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut.

This is perfect. A pernicious, wall-of-sound "Sugarcube" with Dan's most desperate yelp well in the back is what I like to call the definitive BTO sound. Who is this man who lives in beans? Interestingly, this work's character is faced with either the man who lives in those beans or the Kierkegaardian nightmare of seeing the very can of beans in which he lives. Mark Newara's measured performance brings a certain cheeky dread to the proceedings. He's as nauseous and terrified and hungry as we are watching him. And with all that swirling trepidation, it's not hard to imagine we're all living, struggling even, covered in beans. -- Neil Barbour

  • Daniel Jircitano, we love you!

(Besides, anyone who dreams of transient dogs with the face of elderly men can do no harm, in my book....)

  • I love this.

  • MARK.
