@SoReadyToGoHome Tell that to the early church and all those who have endured tribulation for his name sake. Your logical assumption on the transfiguration of Christ is a wild guess and contradicts multiple other scriptures. Go read rev 12, or Romans 8 on how the church was being persecuted.

The appearance of Moses and Elijah on the Mt. of Transfiguration with Christ in Luke 9:28-31 is a type of The Rapture of The Church. It represents Christ meeting his Church in the air. Moses is a type of the Resurrected Staints and Elijah is a type of the Translated Staints. Christ has paid the price already, nothing else is required ( like going thru the tribulation) or esle Salvation really isn't Free.

@kjc777ia I have issue with one thing your last sentence in the first comment. It throws off everything. "our 365.24/yr"---secular calendar of our day to Daniel the Jew? Sabbatical calendar is what Daniel would have used, and it lines up perfectly with Christ's resurrection and Cyrus' decree from the 70 weeks. I'll admit I haven't studied Daniel much(about to start)--but what makes you think God had Daniel use our calendar when it was not invented to a Jew?

And I was told from 696-1986 is 1290 ys to 2031 is 1335 yrs which then in 2032 is the start of the millenium. But what happens after the rapture: Rev. 14:7 - "...These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." is just quite a bit more differrent b/c you'll find that it is the time of God's wrath and indignation like in Rev. 14 and more and all over in the OT, until the 1335th day when satan is bound

@droptozro OK. There's the 1290th to the 1335th day (yrs) of Dan. The 1290th until the rapture the beast has it's greatest power and wears out the saints. Many people's love waxes more and more cold. The 1316th is the year when the rapture happens. Remember in Dan. 2 it talks about God changing times and season. Well I learned that these prophecies in Dan. weren't revealed until the very end, and that He's using our 365.25/yr.
