This is a Federal Signal Model 2-120V located on top of the Ireland, Indiana VFD. This siren originally sounded alert but, due to complaints the siren was adjusted to sound attack by one of the volunteer firemen. Ireland actually has two Model 2s. One of the volunteer firemen said that the model 2s originally came from an old coal mine. Rather than throwing it away the Ireland Fire department decided to use them to alert the public in Ireland.

*Orignally was going to record Haysville's model 5/7 but didn't have time (blame traffic)

  • @jsncrso Ooooh, sorry, I couldn't tell it was on 110vts 83 , had my volume low , it is a plain M2 XD .
