March 29, 2008 8 - 9 PM
A global event created to symbolize that each one of us, working together, can make a difference and a positive impact on climate change
no matter who we are or where we live.
YES even us kids
can make a HUGE difference.

Earth Hour much like the YoungTubers is intended to bring together a diverse group from all over our amazing world.

Earth Hour: March 29, 2008 8 - 9 PM
Cities around the world will join together in literally turning off the lights for one hour to offer leadership and symbolize their commitment to finding climate change solutions.
Lights will be turned off at iconic buildings and national landmarks from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Local businesses and restaurants will also be asked to turn off their lights.
People at home can take advantage of the hour by replacing their standard light bulbs with energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs.

Hi, I value your oppinion, but since you are not sure of what you are saying..at least no more than I am of my oppinion, and since my oppinion would result in the...ohh IDK the end of the world!!! It just seems smart to play worst case scenario here...We only have one planet...Let do everything that we can to make it as safe and clean as possible. I'm sure you aggree with that...right?

btw I believe its more than simply CARBON that is hurting our Ozone...things like methane and cutting down of the rainforest that absorbs carbon dioxide as well as many other factors amount to an envirnment that our planet has never been faced with before in the worlds history...Do you know how fast the rainforest is being cut down every day???

Yes cows do produce more methane than people..thanks for making that point..btw..thats the number one reason they are tearing the rainforest down..to graze cheap cattle..cows...they they are raising WAY more cows than are naturally supposed to even be on earth...they are producing sooo much methane that it is another factor in the holes in our ozone...combined with the oxygen producing cabon dioxide aborbing trees they are knocking down every day...hundreds of acres.Its all a part of the problem
