Haven't run her at the track yet. I have a NX Express plate kit that has been sitting in my garage for two months now. I purchased the kit on impulse (after a few beers one night lo) and have yet to install it. I'll need another $600 in accessories for safe operation and just dropped $1500 on suspsension. I'll post some numbers soon... very soon..

how did it effect the fuel mileage?

I dropped from 24-25 mpg highway to MAYBE 21mpg highway and that's stretching it. Around town not much more than 2mpg with my gearing. The FRPP cams are gone (I'm back to stock cams) and I plan to install some Comp StgII VSR's soon...

What didnt you like about the ford HR cams?

Too difficult to drive in heavy traffic with 4.10 gears and manual trans. The comps have a smoother idle which equates to easier clutch release w/o bucking in traffic. And they produce more power. I'm in holding pattern deciding s/c and cam combo and which comps to go with...

My buddy just got the Livernois stage 2 cams....mild idle with just a touch of lope. Pulls hard all the way through, very drivable. makes 600 rwhp with a saleen blower.....worth looking at IMHO.

I will def check those out. Whatever I go with next will have less lope than the hotrods...most do other than the hr's/ thumpers. I'm over the long duration, difficult to tune lopey cams. I want some smoother idling, power producing ones.
