Hum... I noticed they only mentioned matches and other potentially kid caused fires. I guess it might scare kids if they find out about bad electrical wiring, defective items such as appliances (save for that toaster), vehicle fires, wildfires, and most scary of all, arsonists. Also, carbon monoxide.
"Sorry Susie, but the fire that burned your house was caused by a guy who gets off setting things on fire. Sorry!"

@Chargal4 I mean, a fire is a fire, and the safety rules apply no matter how it starts. And teaching kids to respect fire as a dangerous thing is important, but when you are teaching kids (and adults!) it is important to keep things as simple and straight forwards as possible, otherwise you will overload them and they get confused.
