18th may 2002 a very sad day for us british wrestling fans
-
@traceymarsh1 he died of heart failure, otherwise known as a heart attack, toxicology results suggest that his condition was enhanced by years of steroid and painkiller abuse aswell as HGH (human growth hormone), and also cocaine and other recreational drugs.

great tribute 1 of the greatest wrestlers ever

This was a real tribute, even using his music not the loud annoying one they have today. I even stood when you said to stand. (was i going to far?)

I was about 9 or 10 years old when I watched him wrestle and he was great at what he did. I´m glad someone decided to focus only on the POSITIVE, which is what we all should do. Awesome tribute.

Very moving tribute vid...
Why and how did he die? He was obviously a very, very fit man. Without sounding disrespectful, did he take steroids? and if so, could this have contributed to his sad and very premature death?
He was a great entertainer and I loved watching him. RIP.

The sad truth is, Davey took steroids, but also many other drugs, including pain killers. This weakened his heart and lead to a fatal heart attack when he was 39 years old.
He had a drug rehab, but I guess it was just too late. Your body doesn't forget easily.

This saddens me. My dad died also. He was a heavy smoker and a drinker. Till he quit in the future but it was too late. Sad. Hate to see people made bad comments about people. Especially when they're already deceased.

I'm sorry about your Dad. Just try not to listen to people talking bad about him. You know how he was, and you loved him. That's all that matters.
Many people see the splinter in their brother's eye; but not the beam in their own. If you love your dad, he must have done something right. And before other people start talking about him, they should think twice what their family would say about them.
