Sight Unseen

Teenage boys originally from Bangladesh struggle with the mayor of a small town for the right to play soccer at a public park. Hudson, NY was once a booming factory town and Bangalis moved there to work in the world's largest button factory. The factory along with most of the industry has since left town. The struggling Bengali community takes advantage of the beautiful and nearby waterfront park. The boys play soccer, while their families walk around the riverfront. However, the community's use of public space is threatened when the mayor tries to ban soccer from the park.

i admire liberal jewish americans, i am an indian muslim myself, born and raised here, and if it wasnt for liberal jews, my parents would never have been able to immigrate here. the more i learn about jewish american experiences, the more i realize how much more alike we are and the more i also start to understand where your community, experiences and why many jews think the way they do. you guys are doing a great job and part of the reason why i dont hate jews.hatred of anyone is wrong.

@YoungJewishandLeft oh im very familiar with this. and its not the indian right but the hindu extremist right wing in india itself. all these groups have one thing in common which is hatred of muslims and thats it. but ironically, the same hindu right wing in india now also is targetting christians too for violence because of sonia gandi, who is of italian descent. i dont hate hindus because of those fanatics, and why i support the moderate congress party that represents all communities.
