No, no no no no no no. Ulmeyda wouldn't want people running out of his cult. I've always interperted the "job" as a test to see how long he could withstand pain and a test of resolve. Clemence survived at easily sound-breaking speeds at the request of his leader, thus finishing both.
Well, Ulmeyda said that he infected himself with deadly diseases and it helped to find vaccines and cures, so perhaps the job is to push Clemence to the extreme and test his endurance; if he "wins" he'll be a stronger person and be able to withstand more.
What I find weird is that in the ending clip Clemence knows that Ulmeyda is dead because the raining blood "tastes like Mr. Ulmeyda's" O___o
